Proximity
The principle of proximity is simply the process of ensuring related design elements are spaced together. Any unrelated items, should be spaced apart.
Example 1
1. Close proximity indicates that items are connected or have a relationship to each other and become one visual unit.
2. Easy to understand the content.
3. It eliminates the confusion.

In this chess board all white coins arranged in side and all black coins arranged in one side.
